Scratch M5 is the iconic multidisciplinary saddle with a round and T-shape shape that, thanks to innovative technologies in terms of size, shape and ergonomics, is loved by both professionals and the most demanding amateurs looking for an optimal combination of comfort and high performance.
The compact dimensions (250 x 140 mm) and extremely low weight (153 grams in the Nack version) make it a unisex saddle perfect for use on the road, gravel, cross-country and marathon mountain biking.
Anatomical Shape
The T-shape saddle provides greater freedom of movement thanks to a wider seating area. The set-back anatomical center allows the cyclist to easily vary positions by using the entire length of the saddle. The rounded anatomical shape of the Scratch M5 provides extra support for the lumbar region, helping maintain a stable position even for those with limited pelvic mobility.
Technologies
The MSS-Multi Sector System seating system, designed in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Milan, helps improve comfort and performance. The active, separate foams create 5 zones that work intelligently and individually, promoting normal pedaling motion during both push and pull.
The innovative Active Base technology gives the Scratch M5 model a perforated base covered with light padding to eliminate pressure peaks in the pelvic genital area. The closure of the prostate area also offers better protection of the genital area in extreme weather conditions (rain or mud).
Base and Rail
The rail can be made of Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber), a blend of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments—ideal for cyclists seeking maximum rigidity and lightness—or Tirox (a light alloy steel) for excellent vibration absorption. The base is made of long-fiber carbon for Nack rails, or injected carbon for Tirox rails. These materials offer an excellent balance between rigidity and comfort.
