Lighten Your Load. Strengthen Your Ride. With its balanced ratio between durability and weight, the Deore XT crank of the M8200 series is suitable for Cross Country as well as Trail and Enduro. Thanks to the proven HollowTech II manufacturing method, the forged aluminum crank arms are not only light and stiff, but in combination with the 24 mm steel shaft also robust enough to withstand even hard impacts. While the Q-factor of 176 mm ensures a familiar riding experience during race use, the standardized chain line of 55 mm ensures maximum frame compatibility without the need to change wheels or cassette. In conjunction with the SM-CRM86 chainrings (Direct Mount, not included) matched to the FC-M8200 crank, the best possible chain retention is also guaranteed thanks to Dynamic Chain Engagement technology.
