Technologies

Graphene
Graphene is a revolutionary material in the form of an ultra-thin, almost transparent carbon layer. In its most extreme form, it is only a single atomic layer thin (1 billionth of a meter). Vittoria uses "Directa Plus" graphene called G+, which is two to eight atoms thin.

The advantages of graphene:
  • Huge surface area: 1 gram = about 2,630 m2, which is available for all kinds of chemical processes
  • High mechanical strength: about 200 times stronger than steel
  • High thermal conductivity: more than twice that of diamonds
  • Low density: equal to or half as dense as aluminum
